Narcisse Rafati is a France-based visual artist and independent curator working across watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting. Her practice explores themes of identity, fragmentation, and the psychological body, often incorporating physical interventions such as cutting, stitching, and material disruption on the canvas.She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, as well as a Master’s degree in Visual Arts and a second Master’s degree in Art History and Globalization from Université Lumière Lyon II. This interdisciplinary background informs both her artistic language and curatorial approach.Alongside her artistic practice, Rafati is the founder of Watercolor Golden Brush, an international platform dedicated to contemporary watercolor, and New Road 2 Art, a curatorial initiative and virtual gallery supporting artists through exhibitions and open calls.She has curated and organized over 30 exhibitions, both online and in physical spaces, collaborating with artists from diverse international backgrounds. Her curatorial projects extend across Europe and internationally, reflecting a strong engagement with global contemporary art networks.As an artist, Rafati has participated in numerous exhibitions and international art events across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Her work operates at the intersection of painting and object, emphasizing materiality, gesture, and conceptual depth.
